Pursuant to federal statutory law, persons or companies who submit false or fraudulent claims against the Federal government (and against certain State governments) may be held liable for these actions. If you have knowledge of such activity, you may be entitled to 15% to 30% of the amount awarded to the Government. The Firm has experience in bringing these types of suits on behalf of individuals who have information regarding fraudulent practices directed at the Federal government. Again, as in all areas, the Firm is highly selective in the types of cases it accepts. This allows us to concentrate on the “best” cases that have the highest chance of success. The Firm is currently working on a FCA case which alleges that many of the major oil companies conspired to defraud the Federal government out of tens of billions of dollars of oil and gas royalties.
