Leisa B. Pearlman is of counsel to the Firm and focuses primarily on complex federal litigation. Ms. Pearlman is admitted to practice in all courts in the State of Texas and the State of Arkansas, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. Ms. Pearlman graduated from Baylor University in 1985 and received her law degree from Golden Gate University, San Francisco, California in 1991.

Prior to coming to Patton Roberts, Ms. Pearlman served as Assistant District Attorney for Bowie County, Texas (1993-1996) and Assistant Attorney General for the State of Texas (1996-1998). Ms. Pearlman also served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Caroline M. Craven (United States Magistrate Judge for the Eastern District of Texas, Texarkana Division (1998-2004).

Ms. Pearlman is or has been involved with several complex commercial disputes, patent cases, trademark cases, mass tort litigation, and class action matters on both sides of the docket. These cases include, but are not limited to, the following: Polycom, Inc. and Polycom Israel, Ltd. v. Codian Ltd. and Codian Inc., United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas (Patent Litigation); Ronald A. Katz Technology Licensing L.P. v. Whitehead, Individually and as Class Representative on Behalf of Similarly Situated Persons v.
